Our Aircraft Cleaner Lead is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of aircraft interiors and exteriors, ensuring that they meet specific hygiene and safety standards. This role involves coordinating and supervising a team of aircraft cleaners, providing training and support where necessary. The Aircraft Cleaner Lead also inspects aircraft after cleaning to guarantee the quality of work and compliance with airline and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, this position may require managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, liaising with airline staff, and ensuring the timely completion of cleaning tasks.

Compensation:

$20.00 Per Hour

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents.
  • 1 year of cleaning experience.
  • Understand the use of different cleaning supplies, tools, and chemicals.
  • Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets.
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal- as applicable).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate teams of aircraft cleaners
  • Responsible for cleaning aircraft and assigned tasks
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with aviation standards and safety regulations
  • Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment
  • Inspect aircraft cabins and exteriors for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocks
  • You have a great attention to detail
  • You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Like to build long-term relationships with your customers
Physical activity may include:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds or more
  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by the terminal environment.
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
