Ground Handling

This position will lead the Gateway Facility Administration team. In addition to supporting the recruiting and onboarding of the new employee, this position will also lead the employee experience within the gateway.

The Ground Services Instructor provides safety, security, and procedural training for ground handling and/or cargo services.

Equip airplane cabin, by reading check list specifications, with equipment and supplies such as rugs, linens, blankets, etc., as well as carrying supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. on board aircraft.

The Maintenance Technicians/Electrical Mechanics are the main responders to emergency situations. They carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at the electrical and mechanical levels of the baggage handling system.

Mechanics should have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical portions of the BHS and PBB. Mechanics must be able to proficiently replace any mechanical device, structural portion, or support involved with the efficient, safe operation of the BHS & PBB.

The work of the Manager-on-Duty Ramp Services includes directing supervisory personnel within assigned functional areas, which may include ramp services, overseeing and advising on staffing requirements, and acting as a liaison between the first-level supervisor and upper management.

The Lead Mechanic is responsible for aspects of the Field Service Technician position (as described below) as well as the following: managing the crew's overall performance and ensuring the timely and satisfactory completion of work assignments in accordance with Company policy.

The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic A is responsible for properly diagnosing and performing repairs to gas and diesel-powered engines and hydraulic, electric, and air brake systems.
